Pink’s 12-Year-Old Daughter Willow Sang With Her Onstage—And Nailed It

Pink was once told having kids would ruin her career—now her 12-year-old daughter Willow is joining her onstage.

On June 7, the mother-daughter duo performed their single “Cover Me in Sunshine” during the first night of Pink’s Summer Carnival 2023 Tour, which kicked off in the UK. “So proud of Willz to get up on stage w/ mama @pink,” proud father and husband Carey Hart wrote on Instagram alongside a video of the moment. “Must be a surreal moment for mama to have w/ her lil girl on stage 😢. Looks like 1st show of the tour kicked ass!!!!! Can’t wait to catch up end of this month and see for myself. Summer is grind time ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻.”

Fans swarmed to his comments section to shower the preteen with praise, including the one and only Selma Blair. “I’m so overwhelmed with love and pride for this gorgeous Willow and her beautiful superstar parents. 💛,” Blair wrote. “Well done. And what an incredible night it looks and sounds… ✨✨✨✨”

Pink and Hart have been married for 17 years and have two children: 12-year-old Willow and 6-year-old Jameson. “I did not know I was going to have a family,” Pink told People in February. “I didn’t picture that for myself because I was terrified I would be a terrible mother. But, oh my God, being a mom is the most incredible thing I’ve ever done. It’s shocking how responsible I’ve become.”

That month Pink also revealed that Willow would have a job on her summer tour—and even taught her daughter how to negotiate for herself. “We just had to go over minimum wage, and it’s different state to state,” Pink said during an appearance on Today. “I said it’s about $22.50 a show depending how long I go, if I run over. She goes, ‘I’ll take $20. It’s easier to do the math.’ I’m like, ‘That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.’ I’m like, ‘You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math.’” An important lesson for all of us.
