UPDATE: Gunman In Louisville Bank Shooting Identified As Employee

The gunman in the Louisville bank mass shooting on Monday morning has been confirmed to be a 23-year-old employee. Connor Sturgeon reportedly opened fire inside the Old National Bank at around 8:30 a.m. on April 10.

Interim Lousiville Metro Police Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel has confirmed four people died, along with the shooter. The injured toll rose to nine, with three people reportedly in critical condition, three in non-critical condition, and three already released. Two of the nine were responding officers.

Sturgeon died while exchanging gunfire with responding officers.

Police identified the victims as Joshua Barrick; Juliana Farmer; Tommy Elliott; and James Tutt, all between the ages of 40 and 64.
