Thanks to a noteworthy discount at Dell’s official online store, a quite attractive XPS 13 Plus configuration has now dropped below the US$1,000 mark just as the 13-inch ultrabook is about to receive a rather minor refresh to Intel’s latest 13th-gen processors.
The Chinese PC maker Lenovo isn’t the only manufacturer that is currently clearing up some ultrabook inventory by offering the ThinkPad X1 Nano at a considerable discount through one of its authorized resellers. One of its direct competitors, the fashionable Dell XPS 13 Plus, has now also been put on sale for one of its lowest prices thus far.
More specifically, the Dell XPS 13 Plus 9320 configuration with the Intel Core i7-1260P Alder Lake processor and 16GB of soldered dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM can now be purchased for US$979 at the company’s official online store. This version also comes with the base FHD IPS display and a 512GB SSD. No coupon code is needed in order to get the 13-inch ultrabook for this enticing sale price, which offers a discount of US$669 or roughly 41 percent in relation to the regular list price of the Dell XPS 13 Plus with these kind of specs.
As usual, we recommend that prospective buyers check out our detailed review of the Dell XPS 13 Plus 9320, and we’ve also posted a corresponding video review of a different configuration on our YouTube channel. Overall, we certainly enjoyed the redesigned and sturdy chassis, which houses good-sounding speakers and a well-performing CPU. Unfortunately, the ultrabook does no longer feature a 3.5mm headphone jack or an SD card reader. Nonetheless, laptop users who can live with these drawbacks and are looking for a beautiful 13-inch machine might want to take advantage of this decent deal.
