The Galaxy A14 5G is thought to become one of Samsung’s more affordable new smartphones of 2023. According to a new leak, it may have an M-series counterpart with the same new Exynos processor. Should that be the case, either device might launch with Android 13 and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Galaxy A14 might be a particularly eye-catching budget smartphone in 2023: rumor has it that it will launch as a plastic version of the Galaxy S23. However, whereas that upcoming flagship is confirmed to have moved past the use of Exynos processors, the word is that the A series has not.
The A14 is projected to have 4G/LTE-only and 5G-capable variants, the latter of which has allegedly shown up on Geekbench as the SM-A146B, which has been tested alongside an SM-M146B.
The fomer is linked to the A14 5G, whereas the more novel latter might be a possible analog for some markets called the M14 5G. Their comparable scores have been achieved by the exact same specs: 4GB of RAM, an Android 13-based OS and an unfamiiiar “s5e8535” platform with 8 cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz.
It is thought to conform to the Exynos 1330, an SoC that has recently been officially approved to use Bluetooth 5.3. Therefore, should these leaks prove correct, the Galaxy A14 5G stands to launch with triple rear cameras and a notched display with up-to-date software and some new wireless connectivity.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
