“Blood on the Camera, Damn”: Boxer Suffering Nasty Cut on Canelo vs. Ryder Undercard Sends Fans in Frenzy

The long-awaited fight between Canelo Alvarez and John Ryder is finally at hand today as the duo is all set to face one another in the ring. The fight is taking place in Guadalajara Mexico and the stadium is set to have enough capacity for 50k people in the audience. The first fight of the main card of the fight has already taken place. The fight between Oleksandr Gvozdyk and Ricards Bolotniks has just finished leaving Bolotnik on his knees as the referee intervened to stop the fight.

Gvozdyk took a different approach to this fight that even left the boxing commentators confused. For the first five rounds of the match, he appeared out of his element, unlike his light heavyweight champion. However, it seemed like a switch turned on as the sixth round began. Gvozdyk started to pick up and bombarded Bolotniks with power punch after power punch. He soon brought the Latvian fighter to his knees with a nasty cut above his brow. Even Bolotniks was able to stand up before the counts ended, but Ruiz stopped the fight and sealed the result of Gvozdyk’s victory via TKO.

Even though during the opening rounds Gvozdyk through ineffective punches. Bolotniks was able to land some effective shots on the fighters. Both fighters looked huge, and the ring felt small in comparison to the two big fighters both reaching 6 ft. Fans were unable to suppress their excitement and took to Twitter to share their responses to the fight.

Fans were left impressed by the amazing knockout of the Latvian fighter by the Ukrainian boxer. They shared their reactions to the fight as soon as the fight ended at 1:53 of the 6th round. Many fans were quick to point out how crazy the cut above Bolotniks’s eyebrow was while others welcomed it.

One fan chazza immediately took to Twitter to share that Gvozdyk had stopped Bolotniks. He called the cut on Bolotniks “nasty”.

Nonetheless, Gvozdyk’s victory was a remarkable achievement and shows that he is a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world.
