A brand new Rolls-Royce Ghost ultra-luxury sedan worth over $350,000 (₦500 Million) now has a permanent home in the living room of a Chinese owner at the 44-floor of a penthouse in Shanghai.
The over 2.5 tons Rolls-Royce Ghost made the ascent while atop a custom built iron cage, which was then hoisted by a crane to the 44th floor of the high-rise building.
Footage shared shows as the British-made hand-built luxury car rises into the air and moment it was pulled into the penthouse. A man then took a short test-drive to show that the Rolls-Royce is drivable.

Still powering this Rolls-Royce Ghost is a V12 engine, which when driven on the highway, allows a 0-to-60 mph in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 155 miles per hour (249 km/h).
“It took a lot of calculations and experiments to tow it up before we started to do this,” said the company tasked with raising the ultra-luxury sedan into the building.
“The whole process was completed by the engineering department of the real estate firm”, adding that there “was no problem with safety” as the whole process was a “carefully planned project”.
This display comes a month after an Australian Business tycoon, Adrian Portelli, hoisted his ultra-rare $2 million McLaren Senna GTR racing car into his US$26.3 million penthouse apartment on the 57th floor.
