Available for almost half a decade, the Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L is still a compact computer case worth taking into account when building a new PC. Now discounted to a mere US$42 on Amazon, this micro-ATX tower case features an open thermal design with a transparent side panel and a magnetic dust filter.
The Cooler MasterBox Q300L micro-ATX case is a very flexible option for system builders who want to build a low-cost, compact system with attractive looks and good airflow. Although it can only accommodate micro-ATX and mini-ITX mainboards, this case comes with plenty of space for cable management and mainstream PC components. Now, Amazon has it for sale at 40 percent off, which translates to a US$42 price tag (down from a list price of US$69.99).
Made of steel and plastic, the Cooler MasterBox Q300L sports a full-size transparent side panel, magnetic dust filters with a special pattern that both looks great and ensures optimal airflow, as well as a modular side panel that can be installed in no less than six locations (on both sides of the body, at the front, top, or bottom). This case can accommodate the following:
- CPU coolers up to 159 mm (6.2 inches).
- Graphics cards up to 360 mm (14.17 inches).
- Power supplies up to 160 mm long.
- Two front fans (120/140 mm) or a radiator (120/240 mm).
- Two fans on top (120 mm).
- One rear fan (120 mm, pre-installed) or one radiator (120 mm).
- One 3.5-inch drive and two 2.5-inch drives.
The dust filters sit on top, front, and bottom. However, the Cooler MasterBox Q300L can be used in a horizontal position if needed as well. The I/O panel only features two USB 3.0 ports and audio in/out jacks with HD Audio support. There are also four expansion slots that need to be mentioned.
On Amazon, the Cooler MasterBox Q300L is a very popular product, having been rated by 13,458 users so far. In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I’ve been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
