Huawei Mate 60 Pro Plus launches as new flagship smartphone with hardware improvements from Mate 60 Pro

Additionally, Huawei only offers the Mate 60 Pro Plus with 16 GB of RAM, either with 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. By contrast, the Mate 60 Pro tops out at 12 GB of RAM and the same amount of storage. Also, the Mate 60 Pro Plus has a tweaked camera system, albeit with the same 13 MP front-facing and 48 MP telephoto cameras as the Mate 60 Pro. Specifically, Huawei equips the Mate 60 Pro Plus with 48 MP primary and 40 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras, compared to the 50 MP primary and 12 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras in the Mate 60 Pro.

While Huawei has opened pre-orders in China, it has not revealed Mate 60 Pro Plus pricing yet, which also applies to the Mate X5. Reportedly, Huawei’s premier Mate 60 series handset could retail for anywhere up to CNY 8,999 (~US$1,228), though. As usual, Huawei has not discussed a global release yet, although it has already confirmed that the Mate 60 Pro will remain a Chinese exclusive.
