It Turns Out Harry Styles Is Really Bad at Acting — Now that his two big features, “Don’t Worry Darling” and “My Policeman,” have screened for critics, the decision is unanimous: Harry Styles is not a movie star.

Damn, that goodwill he built up in Dunkirk dried up fast.

Was he even that good in Dunkirk? I know that he got praised for it but it’s probably a factor for me that the film left no impression on me at all and that his performance didn’t seem that memorable, or was it just that people had low expectations for his performance (myself included) and he managed to surpass them?

Maybe he just needs an amazing director to be good. Olivia Wilde is no Christopher Nolan. Either that or he’s just a one-hit wonder. I don’t want to write him off just yet though.

It helped that he barely talked in that movie.

When it was announced he has a multi movie contract with Marvel, i couldn’t believe it. When he swaggered in after The Eternals credits i thought christ, hope we dont get any more of that character.

People who start off as working in the music industry sometimes can make great actors but they have to be people would also grew up as theater nerds and know how to shift from performing music on stage to acting. Example: Tupac, David Bowie, and Leon Robinson were able to transition from music to acting flawlessly.

I always wonder what aspiring actors feel about these spits being given to famous celebs who literally do not act but get the role handed on a plate for them. How f’n annoying that must be
