Designed in collaboration with India Hicks, in the Tusting Savannah tote (£675) this resolutely luxurious but lowkey British leather company has produced a superbly unfussy but stylish – and sturdy – tote in a deep caramel colour. Each bag is individually numbered and it weighs just 0.7kg. With no metal parts, instead, the handles and piping are filled with fine rope and handstiched at the reinforcement points. Self-lined in suede, there are two slip pockets for stuff you need to grab fast, with a generous handle drop of 14cm and is 40cm at the base, flaring out to 56cm at the top.

Bang & Olufsen has now produced its Beoplay EX earbuds ($699) in a delightfully gentle pink as part of its Atelier Editions, which would, as it happens, accessorize very nicely with the Slipsilk’s Portofino travel pillow. As compact as they are colorful and fully waterproof, the sound and background noise reduction is also every bit as good as you’d expect from this long-standing but cutting-edge Danish company.
