Thanks to a generous 77% discount applied by Amazon to the not-so-generous US$499.99 list price, the 2 TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus PCIe SSD is now available for US$114.99. According to Camelcamelcamel, this is the lowest price of this SSD recorded so far. The 500 GB model is also a good deal at just US$29.99.
Introduced over 4 years ago, the Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD lineup is still worthy of attention due to the excellent prices available on Amazon for all four existing models. However, the most tempting deal is provided by the 2 TB version, which is now down from US$499.99 to US$114.99 thanks to a 77% discount.
All the remaining three capacities are available for good prices, with the worst value being provided by the US$27.99 250 GB version (60% off from a US$69.99 MSRP). The 500 GB version is priced at just US$2 more (77% down from US$129.99). Another tempting deal comes with the US$59.99 discounted price of the 1 TB version, which has no discount applied to its list price. However, those interested can take advantage of a US$5 coupon, so the final price would be US$54.99.
These SSDs have received 49,024 user reviews on Amazon so far and more than 1,000 questions about them have been posted and have received answers so far. The 4.8/6 score is the result of 91% perfect ratings, 6% 4/5 reviews, 1% 3-star assessments, and 2% 1-star ratings.
All purchases also come with 90 days of Amazon Music Unlimited for free. Sadly, this deal only applies to new subscribers.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I’ve been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
