The only ‘Diablo 4’ Altars for Lilith map you’ll ever need

While a huge chunk of Diablo 4’s philosophy, something past games did not do, is exploration, there are limits to how much you can crawl the map looking for one thing in particular: Altars of Lilith.

There are a hundred and sixty Altars of Lilith on the enormous Diablo 4 map. It is not uncommon to play for dozens of hours and barely find a handful, unless you are looking extremely hard for them. They do not appear on the map as an icon, you just have to literally check the environment for the small statue and tiny red glow. Easy to miss with all the chaos going on, though you’ll find more if you start heading down map segments that look like dead ends.

But even still, like Zelda Korok seeds, it is probably going to be borderline impossible for players to find them all naturally. They are really, really important as it’s how you max renown in the game, and they give account-wide bonuses to all your characters. So yes, you want 160 Altars found.

So, how to find them? An interactive map. These are great for hunting them down, and I’m using the one at Map Genie to do so.

I can’t really even post it here because when you zoom out, it just looks like this:

Just a tad overwhelming! What you need to do is hide all the icons except for A) Waypoints so you can see where you can land near these and B) the Altars of Lilith themselves. Once you do that, you can zoom into specific areas and you are well on your way.

I’m not sure there’s really anything else you would need to use a map like this for, exactly. I would probably recommend just exploring the rest of the map on your own as that’s more fun, but yeah, you will not find all these by yourself, and you’re kind of wasting your time to find them all manually. Search for a while if you want, but call it a day at some point.

I suppose you could also use this map as a dungeon locator to find where unseen dungeons with specific aspects you want are hiding. You can filter by dungeon and then click on the dungeon, and then click on the aspect to see what it is and what it does. So that’s useful too.
