Vivo has introduced the Pad Air, an 11.5-inch tablet available with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The Pad Air also has a 144 Hz and 2.8K display, among other features.
Vivo has presented the Pad Air following a series of leaks. According to Vivo, it has equipped the Pad Air with an 11.5-inch and 3:2 display, an unusual aspect ratio for an Android tablet. Additionally, the display is said to output at 2.8K with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness.
Moreover, the Pad Air utilises the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which Vivo complements with an 8,500 mAh battery that supports 44 W wired charging, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage. Also, Vivo has equipped the tablet with 5 MP front-facing and 8 MP rear-facing cameras, which contribute to its 530 g weight and 6.67 mm thickness. Unsurprisingly, Vivo pre-installs Android 13 that it overlays with OriginOS 3.0.
Currently, the tablet has only arrived in China, where it starts at CNY 1,799 (~US$249) with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. However, Vivo also offers the tablet in three other memory configurations, pricing for which we have included below. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Vivo will ever launch the Pad Air internationally.
- 8 GB RAM/128 GB storage – CNY 1,799 (~US$249)
- 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage – CNY 1,999 (~US$276)
- 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage – CNY 2,299 (~US$318)
- 12 GB RAM/512 GB storage – CNY 2,599 (~US$360)
