It seems that Xiaomi is working towards releasing three high-end Redmi Note 13 series smartphones soon. Allegedly, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, and even a Redmi Note 13 Turbo are all in development under Zircon and Garnet codenames.
Yesterday, we discussed the appearance of the Redmi Note 13 Pro at the 3C, confirming that the device will be available with 67 W wired charging. Subsequently, Xiaomiui has provided more information about various Redmi Note 13 series devices, including five Redmi Note 13-branded models. Moreover, the website states that Xiaomi has developed three higher-specced models under codenames ‘Garnet’ and ‘Zircon’.
Supposedly, Xiaomi has assigned Zircon to the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. If their predecessors are anything to go by, then the pair will differ in minor areas like charging wattages, main cameras and memory configurations. Thus, both models are likely to rely on the same core hardware, as recent MIIT certifications suggested.
Meanwhile, Xiaomiui claims that Xiaomi is developing the Redmi Note 13 Turbo under the codename Garnet. Presumably, Garnet will serve as a successor to the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which Xiaomi released in March 2023 with a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset. According to Xiaomiui, its successor will also come with a Snapdragon chipset, but with a 200 MP main camera like the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. A Redmi Note 13 Turbo launch date remains unknown for now, although Xiaomiui asserts that Xiaomi will sell the device globally in one way or another like the current Redmi Note 12 Turbo and the POCO F5.
