At just 114.8 x 76.0 x 27.1mm, the Zotac ZBOX PRO PI339 pico is one of the tiniest PCs that the manufacturer sells. However, it achieves this size decrease by making heavy sacrifices when it comes to I/O and expandability, as it comes with only one M.2 slot for storage and soldered RAM.
Zotac has just unveiled a new fanless mini PC aimed at IoT-related applications, industrial control, digital signage, and edge computing. Unlike its name, the ZBOX PRO PI339 pico is veritably tiny, having a low-profile 27.1 mm height and a volume of just 0.24 litres.
Powering it is a quad-core Intel Processor N100 with a 3.4 GHz max boost clock and Intel UHD integrated graphics, paired with either 4 or 8 GB of soldered LPDDR5(X) RAM. However, users can add their own SSD thanks to the integrated M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot.
Connectivity includes just two HDMI 2.0 connectors (with audio output support), a Gigabit Ethernet jack, and two 5 Gbps USB-A ports. There’s also support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, with a couple of wireless antennas being bundled in the box.
Zotac hasn’t announced any details about pricing and availability for the ZBOX PRO PI339 pico. However, a Singaporean online shop called Beyond Geek has already listed the 4 GB model for SG$389 (~US$285).
