She comes from an administrative and marketing background, careers she followed for many years to keep the wolf from the door, but without enjoyment, finding them so at odds with her inner self. Now, however, she sees the spiritual reasoning for her years in the 'salt mines' and uses her past experience for something she truly believes in, and to make a BSSK event something just that little bit different for visitors and exhibitors alike. The Stylistics was formed in Philadelphia, PA in 1966 from two groups, "The Percussions" and "The Monarchs". When members from each group were drafted or went on to further their education, the remaining members under the guidance of their English teacher Beverly Hamilton joined forces and changed the name to "The Stylistics".
