Spring season is here, which also means saying goodbye to the winter anime series and welcoming new ones. After Crunchyroll’s full list of simulcasts, another popular streaming platform HIDIVE has also revealed its simulcast lineup.
Many of them have already begun, so make sure you give them a try right away.
1. Alice Gear Aegis Expansion

A race of mechanical aliens called Vice invaded Earth, causing mankind to evacuate the planet. While they are confined to live within their starships, their hope lies in Actresses – a group of young women with the ability to wear Alice Gears that can defeat the Vice.

Kyoutaro Ichikawa is fascinated by murder and daydreams of acting it out on his classmates. However, an interaction with Anna Yamada, the class idol, makes him know more about her. Their bond grows stronger and Ichikawa might realize that his murderous desire has become something else.
3. Tokyo Mew Mew New Season 2

Under Project Mew, a team of magical girls is made by embedding the DNA of endangered species. Together, they fight against an alien invasion by Chimera Animas.
4. Otaku Elf
Release Date: April 7 (Fridays)

Koito Koganei is the new maiden of Takamimi Shrine who takes care of Elda, an elf living since the Sengoku era. Instead of blessing people, Elda likes to stay in her room playing video games, watching anime, and everything otaku.
5. Too Cute Crisis
Release Date: April 7 (Fridays)

Liza Luna, an alien wants to destroy Earth, but not before having a look into the planet and what it has. As she travels around places, she encounters a cat café where the furry felines begin to intrigue her.
6. Insomniacs After School
Release Date: April 10 (Mondays)

After the death of an Astronomy Club member, rumors of a ghost began to spread. Ganta Nakami, an insomniac high-school student meets Isaki Magari in the abandoned observatory. As Magari tries to escape, a broken door keeps the two inside. The two begin to form an unlikely friendship.
7. Oshi no Ko
Release Date: April 12 (Wednesdays)

Gorou Amemiya is a gynecologist at a countryside clinic and a huge fan of Ai Hoshino, a talented and beautiful idol. When a pregnant Ai arrives at his clinic, he promises her a safe delivery. However, he gets killed and is reborn as Ai’s son Aquamarine. He learns that the world of showbiz is also full of darkness within.
8. Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible
Continuation Date: May 16 (Tuesdays)
Studio: PINE JAM
Junta Shiraishi wants to enjoy his youth at high school. Unfortunately, his presence goes unnoticed by his peers and teachers. But Nagisa Kubo notices him and does not let him stay ‘invisible’ by teasing him. The comedic situations that occur might fulfill Junta’s longing.
Otaku Elf and The Dangers in My Heart are some unique stories to look out for. Also, Insomniacs After School looks equally promising. Lastly, I am glad to know Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible is finally returning! My list for spring is too overwhelming now.
