The Galaxy A14 is now believed to join its 5G-capable namesake in India soon. It may prove a very budget-friendly new Android smartphone in that market, with an alleged launch-day price of even less than its 2022 predecessor. Therefore, it may pack very similar specs for less money, albeit with an updated design.
The Galaxy A14 4G is now reportedly ready to join 2023 siblings such as the M14 on the Indian market. This device has a Helio G80 SoC rather than something newer like the Exynos 1330 – however, it might have its fans with almost S23-like looks at a much lower price.
The A14 4G (or SM-A145x) is now projected to go for as little as INR 13,999 – around the same as its US$169 starting price in other markets. The non-5G A13, on the other hand, started at INR 14,999 (~US$181).
Then again, its 2023 counterpart may be stuck with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage as a base model with that potentially attractive price. Furthermore, there is no mention of the A13’s top-end 6GB/128GB configuration for the newer device in its supposed new region.
The A14 also misses out on a 90Hz display, and relies on the cut-down Core version of One UI. Therefore, t may have to rely on its updated triple rear camera set-up to drive its sales should it really launch in India soon.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
