After Losing the World Title to Rhea Ripley at Wrestlemania, Charlotte Flair’s Position as the Top WWE Female Star Suffers Another Major Setback

The whole WWE universe saw it when Rhea Ripley defeated the seven-time SmackDown Women’s champion, Charlotte Flair. Their match at WrestleMania 39 left several fans excited as they brought their A-Game to the table. Although both the wrestler performed well, Flair is still having to suffer from the setback of her title loss. More than a month after losing her title, Flair now faces another issue around her status as a top star.

A recent report indicates that Flair may longer be the number one babyface of the blue brand. This could either mean a heel turn for Flair or how WWE sees her going forward.

PW Insider recently leaked an ‘insider’ list from WWE. The list pertains to the women performing on the SmackDown brand of WWE. The list shows the top babyfaces and heels who wrestle on SmackDown. The babyface list is written here in ascending order: Aliyah, Mia Yim, Zelina Vega, Shotzi, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair. As we can clearly see, Flair is sitting at number two, right below Bianca Belair.

It could be speculated that Belair received the first position on this roster after her win at WrestleMania 39 and her remarkable rise. So, it is hard not to assume that Flair’s loss to Ripley at the same event is exactly what might have caused her rating to drop.

Although Ripley is now the new SmackDown Women’s champion, in El Idolo’s eyes, there is no bigger champion in the entire women’s division than his ‘Queen’.

It’s still unclear what this roster-depth list means for the stars and whether their fans should be worried. Is Charlotte Flair going to make a comeback soon? Would that comeback be as a ‘face’ or do you think she will turn ‘heel’?
