ASUS has presented the Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip, a 14-inch convertible that joins the burgeoning number of Cloud Gaming Chromebooks. According to ASUS, the Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a WUXGA resolution, which should correspond to 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. Additionally, the panel has a 144 Hz refresh rate, 9 ms response times and 100% sRGB colour space coverage.
The Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip also has a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard with anti-ghosting, further underlining its credentials as a Cloud Gaming Chromebook. Reportedly, the device should last up to 10 hours between charges, although ASUS has not confirmed its battery capacity yet. The company has outlined that the Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip will be available with up to 16 GB of LPDDR4X-4266 RAM and a 512 GB PCIe 3.0 SSD, though.
Moreover, the Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip will be available with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, with newer 13th Gen processors escaping the device. The Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip will be available soon in the Eurozone from €799. For some reason, ASUS has not shared full pricing details yet, nor when the Chromebook will be available in other markets.
