One of the new elements in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the skydiving mechanic. By skydiving, you can reach new regions of the map or the many floating islands that you will find along the way. While you can make your way safely to the ground using water or another resource, wouldn’t you much rather have a Wingsuit to navigate your character while flying around?
The Wingsuit is a part of the Glide Set in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and there’s only one way for players to get it.
The Glide Set is broken up into three different parts on three floating islands on the map. The islands are as follows: Bravery Island, Courage Island, and Valor Island. To reach each one, you need to interact with the Skyview Tower that is near them, which is indicated by a landmark near each of the floating islands. Once you have located the landmarks, you need to make your way into the air until you can reach the island.
The islands will be located directly underneath the large pillars that tower over them in the sky. You don’t need to ascend to the top of the pillar, just to the small island located below them.
Each of the islands will reward you with a different part of the Glide Set. Bravery Island offers the Glide Pants, Courage Island the Glide Shirt, and Valor Island the Glide Mask. To acquire each piece, you need to talk to the Zonai Construct on the three islands. The Zonai Construct will state that an old skydiving ritual takes place here that requires players to fall from the sky and glide through green rings until they reach the ground.
In order to take this ritual test, you need to offer one Zonai Charge. Your first attempt on each island will be a practice run and then your next attempt will be a time trial. Complete each trial in the required amount of time to earn the Glide Set piece. Once you have completed all three trials, you will have the three pieces of the Glide Set and can now use the Wingsuit in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
You can now equip the armor pieces whenever you need to skydive. They allow for better control and gliding through the air.
