The two UFC 287 main-card fighters, Jorge Masvidal and Kevin Holland got into an altercation at the UFC 287 pre-bout press conference. A reporter brought out this topic into the press conference as well and asked Masvidal about it. However, after a few arguments from the on-stage Masvidal and Holland, the boss, White, shut this topic off as he silenced the reporter who had another question about the same issue.

White stated, “Guys, come on, these two aren’t even fighting. Knock it off. Do you have a question about the fight who these guys are fighting or do you just want to start s*** in here? What’s your question?” as he moved to take questions from another reporter.

It was evident that White wanted the discussion to be strictly about the fights present on the card.

Jorge Masvidal pointed out a few flaws in his opponent Gilbert Burns’ game

The ‘BMF’ of the UFC was all set to turn the tables after being on a miserable 3-fight losing streak. Recently, Masvidal appeared on the noted, Michael Bisping’s podcast on his YouTube channel where he revealed a few flaws in his opponent, Gilbert Burns’ game. Masvidal also intended to capitalize on them and achieve victory.

‘Gamebred’ firstly stated, “He does a lot of mistakes and constantly you know. He eats with his chin up often you know. So I just gotta show up and do my job and he’s gotta give it to me”.

He further continued, “He just wants the fight not to be on the feet as hard he might throw in all that stuff. He feels so uncomfortable on the feet and this is where I’m most comfortable at. So I just got to let him do the work for me.”

It was understandable that Masvidal had spotted a weakness in an such area of Burns’ game, where he was at his best. But, will he be able to capitalize on it inside the octagon?

Shavkat Rakmonov faced online outrage after posting an animal abuse snap

But this time, it was the turn of the noted UFC Welterweight, Shavkat Rakhmonov, to take some heat from the online community. The ’28-year-old Kazakh native’ had been in an altercation with Khamzat Chimaev not too long ago.

It was understandable that the story was a jibe toward Chimaev, but ‘the Kazakh’ was subjected to a lot of criticism by the ones who got to know about this incident. Many would agree that Rakhmonov’s previously decent reputation might have taken a hit due to this act as well.
