Specifications for a trio of upcoming flagship Oppo Find X6 series smartphones have surfaced on Chinese social media. Reportedly, there will be two Snapdragon versions, plus a Dimensity Edition of the Find X6 Pro. All models are rumoured to ship with triple 50 MP rear-facing cameras and large batteries, as well as other flagship hardware.
Oppo Find X6 series specifications have now emerged online, not long after Oppo registered an alleged Dimensity Edition model with the MIIT in China. According to Fenibook, a leaker on Weibo, Oppo plans to launch three Find X6 series models, with Dimensity and Snapdragon versions of the Find X6 Pro. In other words, the Find X6 Pro is thought to maintain the tradition set by its predecessor, which shipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 globally and the Dimensity 9000 in China.
Unsurprisingly, little is believed to separate the Dimensity and Snapdragon versions of the Find X6 Pro. As far as we can tell, the latter will ship with faster LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage, although the former will be no slouch in these areas. Based on the image below, Oppo will equip the Dimensity Edition with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage, as well as the Dimensity 9200 chipset. The pair will share the same Samsung E6 display panel though, along with identical triple 50 MP rear-facing cameras (IMX890), a 32 MP front-facing sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 50 W wireless or 100 W wired charging.
By contrast, the Find X6 is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, the same IMX709 front-facing camera as the Find X6 Pro but a different set of 50 MP rear-facing cameras. The Find X6 will have a nominally smaller battery too, plus 30 W wireless and 80 W wired charging capabilities. Release dates are unknown at this stage, but Oppo is expected to announce the trio later this month in China.
