As expected, the Mini 2 SE can record videos in up to 2.7K at 30 FPS, distinguishing it from the 4K-capable Mini 3. For reference, the Mini 2 SE ships with a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor that shoots in 12 MP with a 24 mm equivalent focal length, an f/2.8 aperture and an 83° FOV. Furthermore, the drone offers video transmission via OcuSync 2.0 at 8 Mbps and has a 10 km maximum transmission distance.
DJI will begin shipping the Mini 2 SE on March 22. The drone will be available for US$369 on its own or US$519 with a Fly More Combo. Please see DJI’s website for more details and comparisons between the company’s other drones.
