Drawing upon an extensive background in business strategy and financial planning, Mr. Udvarhely is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Choice Training LLC, a leadership training business. Through Intelligent Choice Training, he guides clients through a transformational experience, helping them to identify the root cause of limiting beliefs and reframe their mindset. He thrives at helping each client make connections and to find their voice.
Leveraging his astute business skills, Mr. Udvarhely spent several years as a financial advisor for such prominent finance companies as Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and AIG Retirement Services. However, in the process of accepting clients, he often found himself compassionately listening to them discuss their beliefs and experiences. His growing interest in personal development and growth inspired him to leave the finance industry to pursue leadership training.
A lifelong learner, Mr. Udvarhely is passionate about modeling the way for others to live a healthier, happier and more prosperous life. He is an expert in life coaching and neuro-linguistic programming, a form of hypnotherapy. He is certified as a keynote speaker by Vistage Worldwide, Inc., a board-certified master practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming and Time Line Therapy® coaching, and hypnotherapy by The Tad James Company.
Dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Udvarhely is an active leadership trainer with Rotary International. He is a member of the Masons of California, the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, a board member of Stand-Up Placer, on the Greater Auburn Area Fire Safe Council, the Newcastle Community Association, the Sutter Club entertainment committee, and co-chair of Leadership Rocklin. In light of his exceptional undertakings, he competed in the 2015 International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition.
As a noted leader in the community, Mr. Udvarhely was even asked to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce in Northern California. In that role, Mr. Udvarhely served as the first point of contact for all chamber members, he led community events, marketed the region for businesses, and he cultivated relationships with business leaders, media reporters, and elected officials.
Mr. Udvarhely’s path exemplifies his pursuit of self-discovery. After high school, he sought a psychology degree in Australia, but paused to return home to be with family. He then took a job with the Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association in Northern California, a golf country club and housing association. During that time, he attended Sierra College then California State University, Sacramento, earning an AS and then BS degrees, respectively, with honors. After graduation, he trained and was certified in neuro-linguistic programming, and established his consulting company.
Not shy to take on a challenge, when asked what he’d like to accomplish in the next decade, Mr. Udvarhely replied that he would like to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
