TCL Ion X Specifications, Pros and Cons

In January TCL smartphone company launched its low-budget smartphone known as the TCL Ion X at a price tag of $108 (Rs 8,990 in India) approx. The phone equips a 6.0 inches IPS LCD with HD resolution. The TCL Ion X comes with 4G network connectivity and offers a small Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery with regular 10W wired charging support. The smartphone is available in a single black color variant. The TCL Ion X smartphone runs on the Android 12 OS which is accompanied by TCL UI. As for connectivity options, you get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C support. There is missing a fingerprint scanner and as for the chipset, you get a 12nm Mediatek MT6762G Helio G25 chipset that can go up to 4×2.0 GHz cloaking speed. Let’s talk about storage, in the TCL Ion X smartphone you will get 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, while a dedicated microSDXC card slot is also present. The TCL Ion X smartphone equips a single 13MP camera with a decent 5MP selfie lens that can record up to 1080p resolution video.

Imagination PowerVR GE8320: Integrated graphics card for mid-range ARM SoCs.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

This display is quite big for a smartphone but frequently used for smartphones.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
